About Us
Jay Cable Industries is an ISO-certified manufacturer of power cables and house wires, based in Dahegam, Gandhinagar. We supply dealers, contractors, and industrial customers across Ahmedabad and other parts of Gujarat. As we expand into new markets, we are looking for an experienced sales professional to build our dealer network, win new customers, and drive business growth. This is a good opportunity for someone who wants to grow with the company.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate new business by approaching dealers, distributors, electrical contractors, EPC companies, builders, and industrial buyers
- Build and manage a dealer/distributor network in new and existing territories
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets
- Prepare quotations, negotiate prices, and close orders
- Handle tender enquiries and government/PSU/project sales, where applicable
- Maintain strong relationships with existing customers and ensure repeat business
- Collect payments on time and follow up on outstanding dues
- Study the market, competitor pricing, and customer needs, and share feedback with management
- Coordinate with production, dispatch, and accounts to ensure timely delivery
- Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and visit plans
Required Qualifications
- Graduate in any stream (B.E./Diploma in Electrical preferred); MBA in Sales/Marketing is a plus
- 4-5 years of proven sales experience in the cable, wire, or electrical industry
- Freshers are not eligible to apply
- Existing contacts with dealers, distributors, contractors, or project buyers
- Good knowledge of cable types, wire types, applications, and pricing
- Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
- Willingness to travel frequently
- Working knowledge of MS Excel, email, and CRM/ERP
- Languages: English, Hindi, Gujarati
Preferred Skills
- Experience in opening new territories or markets
- Understanding of BIS/ISI standards and tender documentation
- Own two-wheeler/four-wheeler for field visits

- Salary: ₹30,000 to ₹50,000 per month, based on experience
