Role Description The Sales Engineer is a full-time, on-site position based in Vadodara. This role involves engaging with industrial and commercial clients to understand their process requirements and recommend suitable pumps, dosing systems, mixers, and related equipment. Day-to-day tasks include preparing technical and commercial proposals, conducting product presentations and demonstrations, coordinating with the engineering and operations teams, and providing pre- and post-sales technical support. The Sales Engineer will maintain customer relationships, follow up on inquiries, manage sales pipelines, and contribute to market development activities such as visits, trade shows, and technical seminars. The role also includes documenting customer feedback, supporting solution customization, and ensuring timely order closure and after-sales service coordination.
Qualifications
- Strong Sales Engineering and Sales skills, with the ability to translate technical specifications into customer-focused solutions.
- Experience in Technical Support and Customer Service, including troubleshooting and after-sales assistance.
- Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present technical information clearly.
- Background in mechanical, chemical, or industrial engineering, or a related technical discipline (degree or diploma preferred).
- Knowledge of pumps, dosing systems, mixers, and water/wastewater treatment equipment is highly beneficial.
- Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships and work collaboratively with internal teams.
- Comfort with on-site customer visits, field travel in and around Vadodara, and working in industrial environments.
- Proficiency in basic office and CRM software, along with strong organizational and time-management skills.
