Role Description The Sales Engineer – CNC Machine Tools is a full-time, on-site role based in Delhi, India. This position involves identifying customer requirements, recommending appropriate CNC and industrial machinery solutions, and preparing technical and commercial proposals. The role includes conducting product demonstrations, visiting client facilities, and explaining machine capabilities, specifications, and performance benefits. The Sales Engineer collaborates with the technical team to address pre-sales and post-sales inquiries, provides basic technical support, and coordinates machine inspections and installations. Daily responsibilities also include maintaining customer relationships, managing sales pipelines, following up on leads, and contributing to sales targets and market development initiatives.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Sales Engineering and Technical Support skills, with the ability to understand CNC machine specifications and translate them into customer-focused solutions.
- Candidates should possess solid Sales and Customer Service skills, including lead management, relationship building, and handling customer queries professionally.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, both verbal and written, to deliver clear technical explanations and prepare proposals and reports.
- Relevant technical education (e.g., diploma or degree in Mechanical/Production Engineering or related field) and prior experience in CNC or industrial machinery sales are highly beneficial.
- Ability to work on-site, travel to customer locations, use CRM or sales tracking tools, and collaborate effectively with technical and operations teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills, negotiation abilities, and a results-oriented approach to meeting sales and customer satisfaction goals.
