Role Description The Sales Associate role is a full-time, on-site position located in Hosur. The Sales Associate will engage with existing and potential customers, explain courier and cargo services, prepare quotations, and follow up to close sales. Daily responsibilities include handling customer inquiries, maintaining client relationships, updating sales records, and coordinating with operations teams to ensure smooth service delivery. The role also involves identifying new business opportunities, meeting sales targets, and providing after-sales support to enhance customer retention.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability in customer service and client relationship management, with a focus on clear, professional communication.
- Experience in sales, business development, or retail service environments, preferably within logistics, courier, or cargo services.
- Basic knowledge of pricing, quotations, and negotiation, with the ability to explain service options and value propositions.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, including accurate record-keeping and follow-up on leads.
- Comfort using computers and common office software (email, spreadsheets, CRM tools) to manage customer and sales information.
- Ability to work on-site in Hosur, collaborate with operational teams, and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; a degree in business, marketing, or a related field is an advantage.
- Prior experience in the courier, cargo, or logistics sector is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn and grow is essential.
