Role Description The Sales Associate role at Hato – The Ring Studio is a full-time, on-site position based in the Greater Bengaluru Area. The Sales Associate will greet and assist customers in the studio, understand their preferences, and guide them through the selection of diamond and gemstone rings. Day-to-day responsibilities include presenting product features and benefits, handling inquiries, processing sales transactions, and maintaining accurate customer records. The role also involves ensuring that displays are visually appealing, keeping the showroom organized, and supporting inventory checks. The Sales Associate will collaborate with the team to achieve sales targets, provide exceptional customer experiences, and uphold the brand’s luxury standards.
Qualifications
- Strong customer service and relationship-building skills, with the ability to provide a personalized, luxury shopping experience.
- Sales and retail skills, including consultative selling, upselling, and closing sales in a high-end or premium environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with clear spoken and written English; knowledge of local languages is an advantage.
- Basic numeracy and point-of-sale skills, including handling payments, receipts, and simple inventory tracking.
- Attention to detail and aesthetic sense for product presentation, visual merchandising, and maintaining an elegant studio environment.
- Interest in jewelry, gemstones, and design, with willingness to learn product details and share them confidently with customers.
- Ability to work full-time on-site in the Greater Bengaluru Area, including weekends and peak festive or wedding seasons as required.
- Prior experience in luxury retail, jewelry sales, or customer-facing roles is preferred but not strictly required; training may be provided.
