Technical Content Writer

About the Role
We're looking for a content writer to create clear, SEO-friendly content for a mobile app and software development brand. You'll work with the SEO and marketing teams and report to the content lead.
Key Responsibilities
- Write blogs, website copy, landing pages, case studies, and app-development-related articles.
- Research topics such as mobile apps, AI, blockchain, IoT, and on-demand apps, and explain them simply.
- Do keyword research and optimize content for on-page SEO.
- Proofread and edit your own work for grammar, tone, and originality (plagiarism-free).
- Follow the content calendar and meet deadlines.
- Write social media posts, email copy, and press releases when needed.
- Apply feedback and revisions quickly.
- Update older content to improve rankings.
- Keep the brand's tone of voice consistent.
Required Skills
- Strong written English and good grammar.
- Basic understanding of SEO and keyword usage.
- Interest in or knowledge of tech, IT, or app development.
- Familiarity with WordPress, Google Docs, Grammarly, and plagiarism checkers.
- Good research skills and ability to work to deadlines.
Good to Have
- Experience writing for a software or IT company.
- Familiarity with SEMrush, Ahrefs, or Surfer SEO.
- Basic knowledge of Google Analytics and Search Console.
- Experience with AI writing tools, used responsibly.
