Role Description The Retail Salesperson role is a full-time, on-site position based at the Pigeon Exclusive Showroom in Patna. This role involves greeting customers, understanding their needs, and providing product recommendations that align with their preferences and budget. The Retail Salesperson will demonstrate kitchen equipment features, explain product benefits, and support customers in making informed purchase decisions. Daily responsibilities include maintaining product displays, ensuring the showroom is clean and organized, processing sales and returns, handling basic billing tasks, and responding to customer inquiries. The role also requires tracking stock levels, coordinating with the store team, and contributing to overall sales targets through proactive and courteous customer engagement.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Retail Sales and Sales skills, with the ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Candidates should possess solid Product Knowledge related to kitchen equipment and appliances, with a willingness to learn new product lines.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication and Customer Service skills to assist diverse customers effectively and respectfully.
- Basic math and computer skills for handling billing, point-of-sale systems, and inventory checks.
- Prior experience in retail, showroom sales, or kitchenware sales is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, manage multiple customer interactions, and work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; additional training in sales or retail operations is an advantage.
