Role Description The Retail Sales Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in the Pune Division. The specialist will engage directly with customers on the showroom floor, understand their requirements, and support them in selecting jewellery that matches their preferences and budget. Responsibilities include explaining product features and craftsmanship, demonstrating product options, and ensuring a positive and personalized buying experience. The role involves handling sales transactions, maintaining accurate records, and contributing to visual merchandising and product displays. The Retail Sales Specialist will also support post-sales service, follow company policies on trust and transparency, and work closely with the team to achieve sales targets.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Customer Service and Interpersonal Skills to build long-term relationships and provide a welcoming in-store experience.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication and Retail Sales skills to understand customer needs, present options, and close sales ethically.
- Candidates should possess solid Product Knowledge of jewellery designs, materials, and certifications to guide customers confidently and accurately.
- Relevant experience in retail, jewellery, luxury goods, or customer-facing roles is beneficial.
- Ability to work on-site in Pune Division, including weekends and peak festive seasons as required.
- Attention to detail, basic numeracy for handling billing, and familiarity with POS systems are advantageous.
- Secondary or higher secondary education required; additional training or certification in retail, sales, or gems and jewellery is an added advantage.
