Job details:
What You'll Do
- Track and analyze mutual funds, AIFs, PMS strategies, and NCDs across style, AMC, and asset-class diversification frameworks
- Build fund/product comparison notes, fact sheets, and due-diligence write-ups for internal and client use
- Monitor macro developments, RBI/SEBI policy changes, and market trends, and translate them into digestible client communication (WhatsApp notes, blogs, reports)
- Support the team in preparing client-facing PDF reports and portfolio review decks (fund performance, asset allocation, capital gains, restructuring recommendations)
- Assist in AIF/PMS due diligence — fee structures, hurdle rates, catch-up, fund manager track records
- Contribute to our monthly market outlook webinars and investor education content
- Keep tabs on new product launches (SIF, MLDs, Global ETFs, structured debt) and flag relevant opportunities for the HNI/NRI desk
- Work closely with the sales and client servicing team to ensure research insights actually reach client conversations
What We're Looking For
- 0–3 years of experience in equity/mutual fund research, wealth management, or a related field (freshers with strong fundamentals and a genuine market interest are welcome)
- A relevant degree — Finance, Commerce, Economics; MBA / CFA (pursuing or completed) / NISM certifications are a strong plus
- Strong grip on Excel (financial modeling, comparisons); familiarity with Bloomberg, Morningstar, or Value Research is a bonus
- Genuine curiosity about markets — you read up on funds and macro news because you enjoy it, not just because it's the job
- Ability to write clearly and simply — no jargon-heavy reports that clients can't use
- High attention to detail and comfort with data-heavy work
- A collaborative mindset — you'll be working directly with the Director and across sales, marketing, and back-office functions
