Job Description: Research Analyst (Technical & Non-Technical)

Job Type: Full-Time | Work From Office (WFO)
Working Days: Monday to Saturday
Office Timing: 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM

Roots Technology is a growing organization providing research services, technology solutions, website and application development, and digital marketing services. We are looking for skilled and dedicated Research Analysts for both Technical and Non-Technical domains who can contribute to research projects, data analysis, academic research, and report preparation.
1. Position: Technical Research AnalystRoles & Responsibilities
- Conduct technical research projects in relevant domains, including IT, computer science, engineering, and related fields.
- Collect, process, and analyze primary and secondary data.
- Work on experimental data, technical datasets, and research findings.
- Assist in research methodology, data interpretation, and result validation.
- Prepare technical reports, research papers, project documentation, and presentations.
- Use relevant research tools, analytical software, and statistical tools as required by the project.
- Review technical literature, research papers, and existing studies.
- Ensure data accuracy, quality, originality, and timely project delivery.
Required Skills
- Strong analytical, technical research, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of research methodology and data analysis.
- Ability to interpret experimental and technical data.
- Good technical writing and documentation skills.
- Familiarity with relevant research software and analytical tools.
- Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects.
2. Position: Non-Technical Research AnalystRoles & Responsibilities
- Conduct research across management, commerce, social sciences, education, humanities, and other non-technical domains.
- Perform literature reviews and collect primary and secondary data.
- Develop research frameworks, research objectives, and appropriate methodologies.
- Analyze and interpret qualitative and quantitative data.
- Prepare research reports, literature reviews, research papers, project reports, and presentations.
- Assist with questionnaires, surveys, data compilation, and interpretation of findings.
- Verify references, citations, formatting, and data accuracy.
- Maintain research quality and meet assigned project deadlines.
Required Skills
- Strong research, analytical, and critical-thinking abilities.
- Knowledge of research methodology and academic writing.
- Good command of English and professional documentation.
- Familiarity with citation and referencing styles.
- Basic knowledge of statistical analysis and research tools is preferred.
- Ability to organize information, interpret findings, and manage multiple assignments.
Eligibility Criteria
- Minimum 1–2 years of relevant work experience in technical or non-technical research.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant discipline; higher qualifications will be preferred where applicable.
- Previous experience in research projects, data analysis, report writing, or academic research.
- Strong written communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Willingness to work from the office in Gwalior.
