About Finpeg:
Finpeg is a SEBI-registered Mutual Fund Distributor built on a simple belief: investment decisions should be driven by data, not opinions.
Founded in 2016, Finpeg combines quantitative research with personalized relationship management to help investors build and manage long-term mutual fund portfolios through a transparent, evidence-based process.
Finpeg was founded by Shubham Satyarth, who started his career as an engineer at Goldman Sachs before moving into fund management at Kotak Securities, where he managed institutional portfolios of ₹2,500+ crore.
We're now entering our next phase of growth and are looking for someone who wants to grow with us and play an important role in building the business.
About the Role
This isn't a traditional Relationship Manager role.
As an early member of the team, you'll own the customer journey, from the first conversation with a prospective investor to becoming their trusted relationship manager.
You'll be involved in both client acquisition and relationship management. You'll speak with prospective clients, help them understand Finpeg, onboard them, and then continue to build and manage those relationships over the long term.
Since we're a startup, you'll also wear multiple hats and work closely with the founders to help build and improve the business.
If you enjoy interacting with people, are curious about investing, and want to build a career in wealth management, this role could be a great fit.
What You will do:
Client Acquisition:
· Speak with prospective investors who have expressed interest in Finpeg.
· Understand their financial goals, investment needs, and requirements.
· Explain Finpeg's investment philosophy and approach.
· Guide prospects through the onboarding and investment process.
· Follow up with prospects through calls, WhatsApp, email, and video meetings.
· Convert qualified prospects into long-term clients.
Relationship Management:
· Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients.
· Become the primary point of contact for your clients.
· Help clients with their portfolio-related queries and service requirements.
· Conduct periodic conversations with clients and ensure a high-quality customer experience.
· Proactively communicate with clients and help them stay disciplined through their investment journey.
Building the Business:
· Work directly with the founders to improve the sales and customer experience.
· Maintain accurate records of client interactions and activities.
· Share customer feedback and insights to improve products, processes, and communication.
· Take ownership of tasks beyond your core responsibilities as we build and scale Finpeg.
Who We're Looking For
We're less concerned about the number of years on your resume and more interested in your attitude and potential.
· A confident and articulate communicator who enjoys talking to people.
· Curious and genuinely interested in investing, mutual funds, and personal finance.
· Empathetic and patient when dealing with customers.
· Comfortable with follow-ups and taking ownership of outcomes.
· Self-driven, organized, and willing to learn.
· Excited about working in a startup where your role can evolve as the business grows.
What We're Looking For
· 0–2 years of experience in Sales, Business Development, Customer Success, Relationship Management, or a similar client-facing role.
· Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
· Strong communication skills in English and Hindi.
· Comfortable speaking with customers over the phone and zoom/goole meet.
· Interest in mutual funds, investing, or personal finance.
· Experience in fintech, BFSI, wealth management, or financial services is a plus, but not mandatory.
Compensation & Growth
₹25,000–₹30,000 per month + performance-based incentives.
We believe in rewarding people who create impact. Strong performers can expect meaningful compensation growth and increasing responsibilities as they grow with the business.
What You'll Learn
This role is much more than a traditional sales position. You'll get hands-on exposure to:
· Mutual fund investing
· Wealth management
· Client relationship management
· Consultative selling
· Customer psychology
· Fintech and financial services
· Building and scaling an early-stage business
You'll work closely with the founders and have the opportunity to contribute ideas that directly shape the business and customer experience.
Why Join Finpeg?
At Finpeg, we're building a different kind of wealth management business, one that believes investment decisions should be backed by data, transparency, and long-term thinking.
You'll join a small, ambitious team where your work will have a direct impact on clients and the growth of the business.
If you're looking for ownership, learning, and the opportunity to grow with a business from an early stage, we'd love to hear from you.
