Role Description The Reggio Emilia-inspired Early Childhood Educator will design and facilitate child-centered learning experiences that encourage curiosity, creativity, and collaboration. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and implementing developmentally appropriate activities, observing and documenting children’s learning, and creating a classroom environment that reflects Reggio Emilia principles. The educator will communicate regularly with families, work closely with colleagues, and participate in school events and professional development. This is a full-time, on-site role based at SIS PREP in Gurugram.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Interpersonal Skills to build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of Early Childhood Development to plan and implement age-appropriate learning experiences.
- Candidates should possess Creativity Skills to design engaging, Reggio Emilia-inspired activities and learning environments.
- Candidates should possess experience Working With Children in early childhood settings, demonstrating patience, empathy, and responsiveness.
- Candidates should possess Organization Skills to manage classroom routines, documentation, and learning materials effectively.
- Relevant diploma or degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred.
- Familiarity with Reggio Emilia philosophy or other child-centered pedagogies is an advantage.
- Ability to communicate clearly in English and collaborate in a multicultural environment.
