Role Description The Rebar Detailer is a full-time, on-site role based in Pune. This role involves preparing accurate rebar shop drawings from structural and architectural plans, ensuring compliance with project specifications, codes, and client standards. The Rebar Detailer will interpret engineering and architectural drawings, coordinate with project engineers and other detailers, and model rebar layouts for foundations, columns, beams, slabs, and other structural elements. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing design documents for constructability, resolving detailing issues, updating drawings based on revisions, and maintaining clear documentation and drawing records. The role may also involve collaborating with global project teams, supporting quality checks, and meeting project timelines and deliverables.
Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in Rebar Detailing and Steel Detailing, with hands-on experience in reinforced concrete and steel structures.
- Ability to interpret and prepare Shop Drawings based on Structural and Architectural Drawings.
- Solid understanding of Steel Structures, structural systems, and construction practices relevant to rebar placement.
- Experience with CAD/BIM tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Tekla, or similar detailing software) for rebar and structural detailing.
- Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in rebar detailing.
- Attention to detail, strong spatial visualization, and ability to work with complex drawings and specifications.
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary and international teams.
- Prior experience in a rebar detailing or structural detailing role with industrial, commercial, or infrastructure projects is an advantage.
