About the Role
Travitons Technologies Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer with a strong frontend focus to join a client engineering team working on modern, frontend-heavy applications within a learning and media-driven technology environment.
The role is suited for an experienced engineer who can take ownership of complex development initiatives, work closely with architects and cross-functional teams, and contribute effectively across the application stack.
- You will be involved in frontend modernization, application development, API integrations, infrastructure improvements, and CI/CD, while helping maintain and evolve an established technology platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, maintain, and enhance frontend-heavy web applications with full-stack contributions.
- Build modern, responsive, accessible, and media-rich user experiences.
- Modernize frontend architecture and improve application performance and maintainability.
- Develop and consume RESTful APIs and improve data flows between frontend and backend systems.
- Collaborate closely with software architects to design and implement scalable technical solutions.
- Contribute to application architecture and modernization initiatives.
- Work with infrastructure and DevOps teams to improve deployment and CI/CD processes.
- Support containerized applications and services using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Contribute to maintaining and updating Terraform infrastructure configurations.
- Participate in code reviews and follow established development standards.
- Work closely with Business Analysts, QA engineers, architects, and distributed/offshore development teams.
- Troubleshoot application issues and contribute to production support when required.
- Take ownership of assigned features and technical deliverables from development through deployment.
- Contribute to technical documentation and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Skills & ExperienceFrontend Development
- Strong JavaScript fundamentals and modern JavaScript development experience.
- Strong professional experience with React.
- Experience developing component-based frontend applications.
- Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and SASS/SCSS.
- Experience implementing responsive web designs across different devices and screen sizes.
- Good understanding of frontend performance, usability, and maintainability.
- Awareness of web accessibility and accessible UI development practices.
Backend & APIs
- Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Good understanding of frontend-to-backend data flows and API integrations.
- Ability to contribute to backend development when required.
- Experience working with application integrations and distributed systems is preferred.
DevOps & Infrastructure
- Hands-on experience with Docker.
- Working knowledge of Kubernetes.
- Experience maintaining or updating Terraform configurations.
- Experience with GitLab, including:
- Source control
- Merge requests
- Code reviews
- CI/CD pipelines
- Automated deployments
Collaboration & Engineering
- Strong software engineering fundamentals.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of technical deliverables.
- Experience collaborating with architects and cross-functional teams.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable working with distributed/offshore engineering teams.
- Ability to understand and work within an existing enterprise application ecosystem.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Java / Spring Boot.
- Experience deploying applications to GCP or other major cloud platforms.
- Previous experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS).
- Experience working with Canvas LMS or similar platforms.
- Experience with PostgreSQL and/or Oracle databases.
- Understanding of WCAG 2.0 accessibility standards.
- Experience working with media-rich or interactive web applications.
- Experience with Vue.js / Nuxt.js.
- Experience working in large-scale enterprise or integrated application environments.
