Role Description This is a full-time, 100% remote contract role for a ReactJs Developer with strong Java and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) experience and at least 5 years of relevant work. The developer will design, build, and maintain responsive user interfaces using ReactJs, collaborate with back-end teams to integrate APIs and services, and ensure high performance and scalability of web applications. Day-to-day activities include writing clean, testable code, reviewing peer code, troubleshooting production issues, and optimizing existing features. The role also involves working with Java-based back-end services, deploying and managing applications on GCP, and participating in agile ceremonies, technical discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Strong front-end development skills, including ReactJs, JavaScript, and Redux.js.
- Experience in back-end web development using Java and related frameworks.
- Solid background in software development principles, design patterns, and testing.
- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services and deployments.
- Proficiency with RESTful APIs, JSON, and integration between front-end and back-end systems.
- Familiarity with version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and agile development practices.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage time effectively, and collaborate with distributed teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and commitment to writing maintainable code.
