Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented Quote Checker to review and validate customer quotations before they are shared with clients or moved to execution. The ideal candidate should have experience in residential interiors, a strong understanding of BOQs, pricing, materials, and modular products, and the ability to identify discrepancies in quotations to ensure accuracy and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
Review and validate quotations prepared by the design or sales team.
Verify BOQ (Bill of Quantities) against approved designs and customer requirements.
Ensure pricing accuracy based on company pricing guidelines and rate cards.
Check material specifications, finishes, accessories, hardware, and quantities.
Identify missing items, duplicate entries, or pricing inconsistencies.
Coordinate with Designers, Sales, Procurement, and Production teams to resolve quotation discrepancies.
Ensure quotations meet company margin and profitability standards.
Maintain quotation records and revision history.
Validate discounts, promotional offers, and commercial approvals.
Support continuous improvement by recommending process enhancements to minimize quotation errors.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Interior Design, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
4 –7 years of experience in quotation checking, estimation, or quantity surveying within the residential interior industry.
Experience with modular furniture and interior fit-out projects is preferred.
Required Skills
Strong knowledge of BOQ preparation and validation.
Good understanding of residential interior materials and hardware.
Knowledge of modular kitchen, wardrobe, and furniture components.
Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
High attention to detail.
Strong communication and coordination skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Experience with ERP, Quote Builder, Infurnia, AutoCAD, or similar interior software is an advantage.
Ability to work under deadlines with high accuracy.
Problem-solving and quality-check mindset.
