Job Description
Venkateshwara Institute of Medical Sciences (VIMS) is seeking an experienced and result-oriented Quality Manager to lead and strengthen hospital-wide quality management, patient safety, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor the hospital's Quality Management System.
- Ensure compliance with NABH standards, applicable statutory requirements, and internal hospital policies.
- Conduct regular internal audits, quality rounds, and departmental assessments.
- Monitor quality indicators, patient safety indicators, KPIs, and departmental performance.
- Identify process gaps and coordinate Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) plans.
- Develop, review, and update SOPs, policies, protocols, and quality-related documentation.
- Coordinate with clinical and non-clinical departments to implement quality improvement initiatives.
- Organize training and awareness programs related to quality, patient safety, infection prevention, and NABH requirements.
- Prepare quality reports, audit reports, compliance reports, and management review reports.
- Coordinate accreditation/assessment activities and ensure readiness for external audits.
- Promote a culture of patient safety, accountability, continuous improvement, and quality excellence.
Qualification & Experience
- Qualification: MHA (Master of Hospital Administration)
- Experience: 6–8 years of relevant experience in hospital quality management.
- Candidates with experience in NABH accreditation, hospital audits, quality assurance, and patient safety will be preferred.
- Strong documentation, analytical, communication, coordination, and leadership skills are required.
