Role Description The Quality Management Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Vadodara. This position is responsible for implementing and maintaining quality management systems aligned with company certifications and industry standards, including ISO, IATF, Ecovadis requirements. Daily tasks include monitoring production quality, conducting inspections and audits, analyzing data to identify trends, and driving corrective and preventive actions. The specialist collaborates with engineering, production, and supply chain teams to ensure consistent quality control, documentation accuracy, and regulatory compliance. The role also involves supporting continuous improvement initiatives, preparing quality reports and metrics, and communicating quality-related findings and recommendations to internal stakeholders and customers.
Qualifications
- Strong Quality Management and Quality Assurance skills, including experience with ISO and IATF-based systems.
- Hands-on Quality Control capabilities, covering inspection methods, testing procedures, and process monitoring.
- Analytical Skills for data analysis, root cause identification, and implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
- Effective Communication skills for cross-functional collaboration, documentation, and clear reporting to internal and external partners.
- Relevant experience in manufacturing or engineering environments, preferably plastics, metals, or automotive-related industries.
- Familiarity with statistical quality tools, basic SPC, and problem-solving methodologies such as 8D or FMEA is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in engineering, quality management, or a related technical field is preferred.
- Ability to work systematically, maintain high attention to detail, and uphold safety and compliance standards on the shop floor.
