🔹About the Role
We are hiring a Quality – Manufacturing professional for our client, a well-established transformer manufacturing organization with 50+ years of experience in the electrical industry.
The role will be responsible for managing shopfloor quality, in-process quality control, dispatch quality, vendor quality, ISO systems, audits, customer complaints, and continuous improvement across the manufacturing facility.
🔹 Key Responsibilities
- Ensure quality checks are followed at all stages of manufacturing.
- Monitor production processes and ensure adherence to SOPs and quality standards.
- Identify and resolve quality issues on the shopfloor.
- Work closely with production teams to reduce defects, rework, and process deviations.
- Ensure final product quality before dispatch.
- Verify material, accessories, documentation, packing, and handling requirements.
- Monitor the quality of incoming materials and components.
- Coordinate with vendors regarding quality issues and improvement initiatives.
- Maintain vendor quality records, checks, and approvals.
- Maintain and strengthen ISO quality systems.
- Conduct internal audits and support external/customer audits.
- Handle customer quality complaints and conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
- Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Drive continuous quality improvement across manufacturing operations.
🔹 Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Engineering or relevant discipline.
- 3–6 years of experience in shopfloor and in-process quality control.
- Hands-on experience in manufacturing quality processes.
- Experience in ISO, audits, RCA, CAPA, and quality documentation will be preferred.
- Prior team-handling experience is an advantage.
- Candidates from Electrical Equipment, Engineering, Transformer, or Capital Goods Manufacturing backgrounds will be preferred.
