Job Title: Quality Engineer
Location: Pune
Experience: 2–5 Years
Job Summary
We are looking for a Quality Engineer with experience in manufacturing and quality development. The candidate will be responsible for inspection, testing, quality documentation, supplier compliance, and ensuring that components and assemblies meet defined quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform inspection and testing of new parts, components, and assemblies as per quality plans.
- Prepare and maintain inspection reports and quality documentation.
- Handle measuring instruments, gauges, and inspection equipment.
- Conduct incoming inspection and verify supplier quality documentation and test certificates.
- Coordinate with third-party laboratories for inspection and testing activities.
- Verify functional test results and ensure compliance with quality requirements.
- Support quality processes in line with ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 standards.
- Identify quality issues and support problem-solving and corrective actions.
- Prepare technical reports, presentations, and regular review updates.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Diploma or Engineering Degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
- 2–5 years of experience in Quality Development or Quality Engineering within a manufacturing environment.
- Automotive industry experience will be preferred.
- Experience in component and assembly inspection.
- Basic knowledge of ISO 9001 and IATF 16949.
- Knowledge of inspection standards, incoming inspection, and quality documentation.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Project.
- Strong problem-solving, planning, reporting, and project coordination skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a matrix organization.

Senior Quality Engineer
Location: Pune
Experience: 5–8 Years
Role Overview
We are looking for a Senior Quality Engineer with strong experience in Quality Development and manufacturing, preferably in the Automotive sector, to manage supplier and incoming quality activities for new and series production parts.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with SQ and Quality teams for new part development.
- Develop quality plans, inspection plans, procedures, SOPs and work instructions.
- Establish and manage incoming inspection systems and documentation.
- Review supplier quality documentation and ensure compliance with requirements.
- Prepare quality plans for components such as metal/machined parts, rubber parts, hardware, gaskets, fabrication parts, control panels, radiators, tanks, alternators and silencers.
- Conduct inspection of components and assemblies and ensure adherence to inspection standards.
- Support quality improvement, problem-solving and project management activities.
- Train team members and support effective implementation of QMS processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Diploma / Engineering Degree in Mechanical, Industrial or Electrical Engineering.
- 5–8 years of experience in Quality Development within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in at least one commodity: Metal Casting, Welding, Stamping, Plastic Moulding, Electronics or Complex Assembly.
- Good knowledge of ISO 9001 and IATF 16949; Internal Auditor certification preferred.
- Strong knowledge of QMS documentation, incoming inspection and inspection planning.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Project.
- Strong problem-solving, project management and communication skills.
- Good command of English and ability to work independently and in a team.
- Willingness to travel as required.
