Role Description The Quality Control Executive is a full-time, on-site role based in Udaipur. This position is responsible for inspecting furniture materials and finished products to ensure they meet established quality standards and specifications. Day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring production processes, conducting quality checks at various stages, documenting findings, and reporting defects or non-conformities to the production and design teams. The role involves collaborating with supervisors to implement corrective actions, maintaining quality records, and supporting the development of standard operating procedures. The Quality Control Executive also helps train production staff on quality requirements and contributes to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product consistency and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Experience in quality control or quality assurance in furniture, manufacturing, or a related industry.
- Strong attention to detail, ability to identify defects, and familiarity with inspection methods and tools.
- Basic understanding of production processes, materials, and finishes used in furniture manufacturing.
- Good documentation and reporting skills, including maintaining inspection logs and quality records.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with production, design, and management teams.
- Ability to work on-site in Udaipur and remain standing or moving around the production floor for extended periods.
- Diploma or degree in engineering, industrial production, furniture design, or a related field preferred.
- Knowledge of safety standards and willingness to follow and promote safe working practices.
