Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Quality Control role based in Tiruppur. The quality control professional will monitor and inspect garments at various stages of production to ensure they meet defined quality standards and customer specifications. Daily responsibilities include checking fabrics and trims, reviewing production samples, identifying defects, documenting findings, and coordinating corrective actions with production and merchandising teams. The role also involves supporting quality audits, maintaining compliance with internal procedures and industry best practices, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing processes. Collaboration with supervisors, line staff, and management will be essential to uphold consistent product quality and on-time delivery.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Quality Control and Quality Assurance for garment manufacturing.
- Candidates should possess skills in Quality Management and Quality Auditing to support process improvement and compliance.
- Relevant experience in apparel or knitwear manufacturing, preferably in a production or quality-focused role.
- Ability to read and interpret technical specifications, measurement charts, and quality guidelines.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively on the production floor.
- Good communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with production, merchandising, and management teams.
- Diploma or degree in Textile Technology, Garment Manufacturing, Quality Management, or a related field is an advantage.
