Trade Finance Test Analyst
We are hiring an experienced Trade Finance Test Analyst with strong domain expertise and hands‑on experience in Oracle OBDX, OBTFPM/OBTF, and Oracle FLEXCUBE. The role focuses on validating end‑to‑end trade finance processes, executing functional and integration testing, and ensuring seamless integration across digital and core banking platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute Functional UAT, Regression, and End‑to‑End testing for trade finance systems.
- Analyze BRD, FSD, Solution Designs and prepare test scenarios, cases, and scripts.
- Validate workflows across OBDX, OBTFPM, OBTF, FLEXCUBE.
- Test full trade finance lifecycle:
- Import/Export LC, SBLC, Bank Guarantees
- Documentary Collections, Shipping Guarantees
- Bills & Collections, Trade Loans & Financing
- Amendments, Advising, Confirmation, Negotiation, Settlement
- Validate customer‑facing modules, maker‑checker flows, onboarding, and digital trade requests (OBDX).
- Test workflow routing, approvals, exceptions, and SWIFT integrations (OBTFPM/OBTF).
- Validate accounting entries, branch operations, settlements, and system interfaces (FLEXCUBE).
- Manage defects, coordinate with business/tech teams, support UAT & production verification.
- Prepare test reports, defect metrics, and provide sign‑off recommendations.
Required Skills
Trade Finance Domain
- Strong knowledge of LC (Import/Export), BG, Collections, Trade Loans.
- Familiarity with UCP 600, URDG 758, ISBP.
- Experience with SWIFT MT7xx, MT4xx, MT1xx.
Technical
- Hands‑on experience with OBDX, OBTFPM, OBTF, FLEXCUBE.
- Experience with test management and defect tracking tools.
Testing
- Test strategy, planning, requirement analysis.
- Functional, Integration, Regression testing.
- UAT support and defect lifecycle management.
Experience
- 5+ years software testing.
- 3+ years trade finance testing.
- Mandatory experience with Oracle banking products.
- Exposure to digital banking and transformation projects preferred.
Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Banking, Finance, or related field.
- ISTQB preferred.
- Trade Finance certifications (e.g., CDCS) are an advantage.
Preferred Profile
- Strong communication and stakeholder management.
- Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Ability to translate business processes into test scenarios.
- Experience with multinational banks and trade finance transformation programs.
