Role Description The Senior Performance Tester (with JMeter & LoadRunner) is a full-time, on-site role based in Goregaon. This role is responsible for designing and executing performance, load, and stress test scenarios using JMeter, LoadRunner, and related tools. Day-to-day tasks include analyzing system performance metrics, identifying bottlenecks, and collaborating with development, QA, and infrastructure teams to recommend improvements. The Senior Performance Tester will create test strategies and plans, maintain performance testing scripts, and prepare clear reports and dashboards that communicate findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders. This position also involves continuous refinement of testing approaches and supporting performance tuning across applications and systems.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in performance testing using JMeter and Load Runner tools.
- Strong expertise in scripting, test execution, result analysis, and performance bottleneck identification.
- Candidates should possess strong Performance Testing and Load Testing skills, including hands-on experience with JMeter and LoadRunner.
- Candidates should possess solid Test Execution capabilities and a structured approach to Test Strategy and planning.
- Candidates should possess advanced Analytical Skills for interpreting performance metrics, diagnosing bottlenecks, and recommending improvements.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of performance test design, workload modeling, and result analysis across web and distributed systems.
- Experience with application performance monitoring tools (e.g., APM solutions), server-side metrics, and database performance concepts is beneficial.
- Familiarity with SDLC, CI/CD pipelines, and integrating performance tests into automated workflows is preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to document findings and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Previous experience in a senior or lead performance testing role, including mentoring or guiding junior testers, is an advantage.
