Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Quality Assurance Automation Engineer role based in the Greater Delhi Area. The Quality Assurance Automation Engineer will design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts for web and enterprise applications. The role involves creating detailed test cases, performing both manual and automated testing, executing regression and functional tests, and documenting defects with clear reproducible steps. The engineer will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure software quality, refine requirements, and improve release processes. The position also includes participating in code reviews from a QA perspective, enhancing test coverage, and contributing to continuous integration and deployment pipelines.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Quality Assurance and Software Testing, with a focus on ensuring reliability, performance, and usability.
- Hands-on experience designing and executing Test Cases and performing Manual Testing across different platforms and environments.
- Proficiency in QA Automation, including building and maintaining automated test suites using industry-standard tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, JUnit, TestNG).
- Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC), testing methodologies, and defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps).
- Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems such as Git.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and communicate findings clearly.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams and work in an on-site environment in the Greater Delhi Area.
