Essential:
• Experience of working with a Real Estate Developer in Mumbai / MMR
• Knowledge of materials & services required for construction of a high-rise residential building / complex
• Excellent IT skills especially MS Office & ERP proficiency
• Communication and interpersonal abilities
Key responsibilities:
• Handling procurement of all materials (steel, cement, concrete, electrical, plumbing, sanitary, elevators, doors, windows, etc.) required for construction of residential / commercial buildings
• Floating enquiries to vendors, making comparatives, negotiation with vendors
• Preparing purchase order, issuing purchase order to vendors, follow up with vendor for timely delivery of material and bill submission with all required documents
• Checking of physical stock at site, if required
• Preparing MIS reports
• Maintain the supplier’s quotation records
• Development of new vendors & suppliers
• Develop an active process for measuring supply inventory and determining purchasing needs
• Bills checking with GRN Report and ensure supplier’s timely payment
• Stay up to date with industry trends and establish long-term purchasing arrangements with vendors
• Compare product deliveries with issued purchase orders and contact vendors when there are discrepancies
