Role Description The Purchase Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Nehru Place. This role is responsible for managing end-to-end purchasing activities, including evaluating requirements, sourcing vendors, and preparing and processing purchase orders. The Purchase Specialist will track deliveries, maintain accurate procurement records, and ensure timely availability of goods and services in line with budget and quality standards. Daily tasks include coordinating with internal teams to understand purchasing needs, negotiating terms with suppliers, and monitoring purchasing processes for compliance with company policies. The role also involves analyzing purchasing data, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and supporting continuous improvement in procurement practices.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Purchasing Processes and Purchasing, with an understanding of procurement best practices.
- Candidates should possess skills in Purchase Management and managing Purchase Orders, including documentation and vendor coordination.
- Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to evaluate supplier performance, pricing, and purchasing trends.
- Relevant experience in procurement, supply chain, or purchasing roles, preferably in a technology or multi-vendor environment.
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams, communicate clearly, and maintain effective relationships with vendors and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with ERP or procurement software tools.
- Attention to detail, strong organizational abilities, and capacity to manage multiple purchase requests simultaneously.
- Undergraduate degree in business, commerce, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred.
