The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying and fostering a relationship with our suppliers and vendors. You will also oversee the implementation of the supply and production strategies.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Manage purchase operations, including procurement planning, vendor development, and import purchasing.
- Oversee raw material procurement and packaging material management.
- Develop and implement effective purchase strategies to optimize costs and improve supply chain efficiency.
- Conduct detailed should-cost analysis, negotiate pricing, and finalize terms with suppliers to achieve continuous cost reduction without compromising quality.
- Ensure timely processing of purchase orders, track deliveries, and manage import documentation and compliances.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of purchasing activities into overall business objectives.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activity to inform purchasing decisions.
- Coordinate with inventory control to determine and manage inventory needs.
- Ensuring that all procured items meet the required quality standards and specifications.
- Effectively manage and procure materials for complex Bills of Materials (BOM).
- Utilize MS Office and AI Tools to maintain accurate procurement records, track vendor performance, and generate MIS reports.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in any specialization, or a related field.
- Strong negotiation skills
- 5- 10 Years of purchasing experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
