Role Description The Purchase Logistics Manager is a full-time remote role responsible for overseeing end-to-end purchasing and logistics operations. Day-to-day tasks include managing purchase orders, coordinating procurement activities, tracking inventory levels, and ensuring timely delivery of goods and materials. The role involves evaluating suppliers, negotiating pricing and terms, monitoring logistics performance, and resolving issues related to delays, quality, or documentation. The Purchase Logistics Manager will collaborate with internal teams to forecast requirements, optimize stock levels, and maintain accurate records for reporting and compliance. This role also requires continuous improvement of purchasing processes and logistics workflows to support cost efficiency and operational reliability.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Purchase Management and Purchasing to manage end-to-end buying activities.
- Candidates should possess skills in handling Purchase Orders and related documentation to ensure accuracy and timely processing.
- Candidates should possess Procurement skills to source suppliers, negotiate contracts, and optimize cost and quality.
- Candidates should possess Inventory Management skills to monitor stock levels, prevent shortages, and reduce excess inventory.
- Experience in logistics coordination, vendor management, and supply chain operations is beneficial.
- Strong analytical, Excel/data management, and reporting skills are preferred.
- Effective communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities are required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience is preferred.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines is essential.
