Unbeaten Communications is a Pune-based public relations and corporate communications agency helping businesses and organizations build strong brand visibility, reputation and thought leadership through strategic communications and media relations.
About the Role
We are looking for a Public Relations Intern to join our growing team. This is a six-month paid internship designed for students and recent graduates who want to gain practical experience in public relations, media relations, corporate communications and content development. The intern will work closely with our PR team and gain exposure to real client campaigns, media interactions, research, content development and day-to-day PR activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct media research and identify relevant journalists and publications.
- Support journalist mapping and media database development.
- Assist in drafting press releases, media pitches, briefing notes and other PR content.
- Support media outreach and follow-ups with journalists.
- Monitor media coverage and prepare coverage reports.
- Research industry trends, news and relevant topics for client campaigns.
- Assist the team in developing thought leadership and corporate communication content.
- Support PR campaigns, client activities and media engagement initiatives.
- Coordinate with internal team members to ensure timely execution of PR activities.
- Maintain media lists, coverage trackers and campaign records.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Journalism & Mass Communication, Mass Communication, Public Relations or a related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Good understanding of news, media and current affairs.
- Strong research and writing abilities.
- Good attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn and take responsibility.
- Freshers and recent graduates are welcome to apply.
