As we continue to scale, we are looking for a strategic and highly experienced Vice President, Global Information Technology to lead and evolve our global IT organization.
The Opportunity
The VP of Global Information Technology will be responsible for defining and executing FalconX’s global IT strategy, ensuring that technology infrastructure, enterprise applications, end-user computing, cloud operations, IT security, business continuity, and technology governance can support a rapidly growing and highly regulated financial technology business.
This executive will partner closely with senior leadership across Engineering, Security, Risk, Compliance, Finance, People, and Operations to build a secure, resilient, scalable, and high-performing technology environment.
The ideal candidate is a strategic technology leader who can operate effectively at both the executive and operational levels—someone who understands enterprise IT deeply, but also knows how to build high-performing teams, modernize technology environments, manage risk, and enable business growth.
Key ResponsibilitiesGlobal IT Strategy & Leadership
- Define and execute FalconX’s global IT strategy in alignment with the company’s business objectives and long-term growth plans.
- Lead the global IT organization, establishing clear priorities, operating models, performance metrics, and accountability.
- Serve as a trusted technology advisor to the executive leadership team and senior business stakeholders.
- Develop a scalable global IT operating model supporting a distributed and remote workforce.
- Establish technology standards, policies, architecture principles, and governance frameworks across the organization.
Infrastructure, Cloud & Enterprise Technology
- Oversee global infrastructure, cloud platforms, networks, identity and access management, endpoint management, collaboration platforms, and enterprise applications.
- Drive modernization of FalconX’s IT environment through cloud adoption, automation, observability, and technology standardization.
- Ensure highly available and resilient technology services supporting a global, 24/7 business.
- Establish robust disaster recovery, business continuity, and technology resilience capabilities.
- Evaluate and implement emerging technologies that can improve operational efficiency and employee productivity.
Cybersecurity, Risk & Compliance
- Partner closely with the Security organization to ensure IT infrastructure and enterprise systems meet rigorous security standards.
- Establish strong IT controls, governance, risk management, and compliance processes appropriate for a financial technology environment.
- Support internal and external audits and ensure appropriate technology controls are consistently maintained.
- Partner with Risk, Compliance, Legal, and Security teams to manage technology-related operational and regulatory risks.
- Maintain strong controls around identity, privileged access, data protection, third-party technology providers, and sensitive corporate systems.
Enterprise Applications & Digital Workplace
- Lead the strategy and lifecycle management of enterprise applications, including business systems, productivity platforms, collaboration tools, and corporate technology.
- Build a modern digital workplace experience for a globally distributed workforce.
- Improve employee productivity through automation, self-service capabilities, AI-enabled workflows, and integrated enterprise platforms.
- Establish effective vendor management and technology procurement strategies.
Organizational Leadership
- Build, mentor, and retain a high-performing global IT leadership team.
- Establish a culture of ownership, operational excellence, continuous improvement, and customer service.
- Develop organizational capabilities and succession plans to support FalconX’s continued growth.
- Manage global technology budgets, investments, vendors, and strategic partnerships.
- Create meaningful KPIs and service-level objectives to measure IT performance and business impact.
What We're Looking For
- 15+ years of progressive experience in Information Technology, Enterprise Technology, Infrastructure, or a related field, including significant executive leadership experience.
- Proven experience leading global IT organizations in high-growth, technology-driven, financial services, fintech, SaaS, or similarly complex environments.
- Experience managing distributed and geographically diverse technology teams.
- Strong expertise across cloud infrastructure, networking, enterprise applications, identity and access management, endpoint management, IT operations, and technology governance.
- Demonstrated experience building scalable IT operating models and modernizing legacy technology environments.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity, technology risk, business continuity, disaster recovery, and regulatory requirements.
- Experience operating in highly available, mission-critical, or 24/7 environments.
- Demonstrated ability to partner effectively with C-level executives and cross-functional leadership teams.
- Strong financial and vendor management skills, including ownership of significant technology budgets and strategic technology partnerships.
- Exceptional communication, organizational, and people-leadership skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline; advanced degree is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in financial services, fintech, digital assets, trading technology, or other highly regulated technology environments.
- Experience supporting organizations undergoing rapid global growth, international expansion, or significant technology transformation.
- Experience designing IT environments for highly distributed or remote-first organizations.
- Familiarity with modern cloud-native architectures, SaaS ecosystems, Zero Trust principles, automation, and AI-enabled enterprise productivity.
- Experience partnering with Security, Engineering, Risk, Compliance, and Operations leadership at the executive level.
