Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Project Manager role for fire fighting projects, based in Mumbai. The Project Manager will oversee end-to-end execution of fire detection and suppression projects, including planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and coordination with internal teams, suppliers, and clients. Responsibilities include managing site activities, monitoring project progress, ensuring adherence to safety standards and regulatory requirements, and conducting inspections and quality checks on installed systems. The role involves expediting materials and equipment, supervising logistics and delivery timelines, resolving project issues, and maintaining accurate documentation and reports. The Project Manager will also participate in client meetings, provide project status updates, and support commissioning and handover activities.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Project Management skills, including planning, scheduling, stakeholder coordination, and scope control.
- Candidates should possess Expeditor and Expediting skills to follow up with vendors, track material readiness, and ensure timely delivery to sites.
- Candidates should possess Inspection skills to verify installation quality, compliance with designs and standards, and proper functioning of fire protection systems.
- Candidates should possess Logistics Management skills to manage material movement, site deliveries, and coordination with warehouse and transport teams.
- Degree or diploma in engineering (mechanical, civil, fire, or related field) or equivalent technical qualification is preferred.
- Experience in fire protection, construction, or industrial projects, with familiarity with relevant codes and standards, is highly beneficial.
- Strong communication, documentation, and client-facing skills, with the ability to work collaboratively on site-based teams.
- Proven commitment to safety, problem-solving ability, and readiness to work on high-hazard and time-bound projects.
