About the Opportunity
Meenaar Global Consultants LLP is seeking an experienced Project Manager to manage multiple City Gas Distribution and LNG-related projects from the Head Office. The position will coordinate with clients, Resident Construction Managers, site engineers, contractors and internal teams across various Geographical Areas.
The role requires strong experience in CGD and gas-infrastructure projects, contract management, design coordination, construction supervision, project controls and commercial management.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple CGD and LNG-related projects across various Geographical Areas from the Head Office.
- Develop project execution plans, baseline schedules, resource plans and reporting systems.
- Monitor progress against contractual milestones, schedules, budgets and client commitments.
- Review project reports and implement recovery plans for delays or underperformance.
- Coordinate design activities, including route surveys, hydraulic studies, P&IDs, layouts, drawings, BOQs, material specifications and as-built documentation.
- Oversee construction of steel pipelines, MDPE networks, GI/copper installations, PNG connectivity, CGS, DRS, CNG and LCNG stations.
- Coordinate LNG infrastructure involving unloading, storage, transfer, regasification, pressure regulation, metering and associated utility systems.
- Monitor contractor mobilisation, manpower, equipment, materials, productivity, testing and commissioning.
- Review contracts, work orders, deliverables, variations, change orders, claims, extensions of time and contractual correspondence.
- Identify scope gaps, delay exposure, liquidated damages and commercial risks and recommend mitigation measures.
- Ensure compliance with PNGRB regulations, T4S requirements, OISD standards, PESO requirements, applicable pipeline codes and project specifications.
- Monitor quality, HSE, non-conformities, corrective actions and closure of punch points.
- Review measurements, RA bills, timesheets, client certifications, project billing and material reconciliation.
- Plan and control the deployment, approval and performance of RCMs, engineers and site personnel.
- Lead client meetings and coordinate with contractors, vendors, TPI agencies, statutory authorities and internal departments.
- Ensure timely testing, commissioning, handover, closeout reports and submission of final project documentation.
- Provide consolidated project dashboards, risk reports and decision inputs to senior management.
Desired Candidate Profile
- BE/BTech in Mechanical, Civil, Petroleum, Chemical or a related engineering discipline.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in CGD, LNG, LCNG or related gas-infrastructure projects.
- Strong CGD project experience is essential; exposure to LNG or LCNG infrastructure is preferred.
- Experience as a Project Manager, Resident Construction Manager, GA Lead or equivalent project-leadership position.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects or geographically distributed site teams.
- Knowledge of steel pipelines, MDPE networks, PNG connectivity, CNG stations and LNG/LCNG facilities.
- Experience in design coordination, contract administration, billing, claims and project closeout.
- Working knowledge of PNGRB regulations, T4S, OISD, PESO requirements and applicable pipeline and LNG standards.
- Proficiency in MS Project or Primavera, MS Excel, PowerPoint and project MIS systems.
- Strong leadership, communication, analytical, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel to project locations across India.
