Job Title : Project /Operation Head – Renewable Energy
Location: Bhopal
Reports To: MD & Director
Lead the complete project lifecycle from project Planning , Execution, Monitoring to commissioning and final closure.
• Establish project execution plans, schedules, budgets, manpower requirements and resource plans.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously across different locations.
• Set up project management systems, reporting mechanisms and review processes.
• Monitor project progress against approved milestones and take corrective action.
• Identify project risks, bottlenecks and dependencies and develop mitigation plans.
• Ensure timely achievement of commissioning and COD.
• Coordinate with procurement for timely availability of critical equipment, Participate in technical evaluation and vendor selection. • Monitor project, execution, inspection, dispatch and delivery.
• Develop strategies to minimize material shortages and project delays.
• Control project expenditure against approved budgets.
• Monitor committed cost, actual cost and forecast cost.
• Identify cost overruns at an early stage.
• Drive cost-saving and value-engineering initiatives. • Coordinate with commercial and finance teams for project cost control.
• Lead a multidisciplinary project teams of Project Managers, Site Managers, Contractors and subcontractors
Experience • 15–25 years of experience in renewable energy, solar, power or EPC.
• Strong experience in project execution and multi-location project management.
• Experience across rooftop, ground-mounted solar and/or solar water pumping.
• Exposure to BESS projects is strongly preferred.
• Experience managing EPC contractors, suppliers and large project teams.
• Experience in government/utility-linked solar projects will be an advantage.
• The ideal candidate will be a hands-on renewable-energy project leader capable of managing both large EPC projects and high-volume distributed projects.
• The person should be able to move between a multi-MW ground-mounted project, a large rooftop portfolio, hundreds/thousands of solar water-pump installations and a BESS project, while maintaining control over schedule, cost, quality, safety and customer commitments.
• The role requires strong coordination between engineering, procurement, construction, commercial, finance, quality, HSE, customers, utilities, government agencies and senior management
