Job Summary
Shah Buildcon, associated with the Gravita Group, is looking for an experienced Project Head – Civil to lead the overall planning, coordination, execution and delivery of civil construction projects.
The role will be responsible for ensuring project delivery within defined Cost, Time and Quality parameters while effectively coordinating with consultants, contractors, vendors and internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Project Leadership & Strategy
- Act as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for the entire project.
- Provide strategic leadership for project approach, design and contract management.
- Chair project-related meetings and ensure effective communication among all stakeholders.
- Drive value engineering and identify opportunities for value addition.
- Coordinate effectively with consultants, contractors, vendors and Gravita's in-house team.
Planning & Budgeting
- Assist the Corporate Civil Head in finalizing construction cost estimates.
- Prepare and manage the master project budget.
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using MS Project.
- Drive proactive planning, cost control and project risk mitigation.
Design & Execution
- Coordinate with the design team for technical inputs and finalization of drawings.
- Support project design and planning activities.
- Manage the tendering process and coordinate the award of work to contractors.
- Oversee and coordinate on-site construction activities as per approved work orders.
- Ensure seamless handover of completed project phases.
Project Delivery & Reporting
- Take overall responsibility for project delivery with respect to Cost, Time and Quality.
- Monitor project progress and ensure timely corrective actions wherever required.
- Provide regular and comprehensive project reports to management.
- Ensure accurate maintenance of all technical data and project documentation.
Qualification & Experience
- B.Tech / B.E. in Civil Engineering.
- 18–20 years of relevant experience in civil construction/project management.
- Must have independently handled civil construction projects.
- Proven experience in leading and coordinating project teams.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of MS Office, AutoCAD and MS Project.
- Basic understanding of Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing (MEP) works for effective coordination.
- Strong project planning, execution and contract management skills.
- Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder-management abilities.
- Strong problem-solving and project risk-mitigation capabilities.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and drive projects towards timely completion.

- Experience: 18–20 years
- Qualification: B.Tech / B.E. – Civil Engineering
- Preferred Age: 38–45 years
- Location: Jaipur, Rajasthan
