We are urgently hiring Project Engineers (2 Positions) for our reputed European client engaged in Process Skids Manufacturing, based in Pune.
Job Title: Project Engineer
Department: Project & Engineering
Location: Pune
Experience: 4–7 Years
Education: Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering
Preferred Industry: Dairy, Food & Beverages
Role Purpose
To manage and execute multiple projects while ensuring compliance with quality, cost, and project schedules.
Key Responsibilities
Engineering & Design
- Prepare Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) and Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).
- Develop General Arrangement (GA) layouts.
- Prepare detailed technical specifications for equipment and systems.
Vendor & Supplier Management
- Communicate technical requirements to suppliers.
- Participate in the selection of equipment, instruments, and components.
- Evaluate supplier quotations and support techno-commercial evaluations.
- Coordinate with suppliers to optimize technical solutions.
Project Planning & Execution
- Prepare project schedules for customer submission.
- Supervise mechanical installation, equipment erection, process piping, CIP piping, and utility piping.
- Coordinate installation of electrical control panels.
- Oversee installation, commissioning, and successful project execution at customer sites.
- Ensure smooth project handover upon successful completion.
Required Skills
- Experience in mechanical installation and equipment erection.
- Strong knowledge of process piping and utility piping systems.
- Hands-on understanding of TIG welding and electrical installations.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D and MS Office.
- Knowledge of ASME, SMS, 3A, EHEDG, and DIN standards.
- Experience in dairy processing and related process equipment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end project execution.
- Supervise installation and commissioning activities.
- Ensure projects are completed within schedule, budget, and quality standards.
- Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and customers throughout the project lifecycle.
