Role Description The Project Engineer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Chennai. This role involves managing engineering projects from initial concept through execution, including project planning, design coordination, and overseeing installation and commissioning activities for industrial automation and customized machinery. The Project Engineer collaborates with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and customers to define requirements, develop technical solutions, prepare documentation, and ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards. Daily responsibilities include monitoring project progress, resolving technical issues, supporting testing and validation, and ensuring compliance with safety and industry regulations.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Project Engineering and Electrical Engineering skills to manage technical design, integration, and commissioning activities.
- Candidates should possess Project Management and Project Planning skills to coordinate timelines, resources, budgets, and deliverables.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to work with internal teams, vendors, and customers and prepare clear technical documentation.
- Candidates should have a relevant engineering degree (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics) and experience in industrial automation or manufacturing projects.
- Candidates should be proficient in CAD tools and engineering software, with a solid understanding of industrial machinery, safety standards, and quality practices.
- Candidates should demonstrate problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams.
