Role Description The Professor of Medicine role is a full-time, on-site position based in Shahjahanpur Tehsil. The Professor will provide high-quality medical education to undergraduate and/or postgraduate learners through lectures, clinical demonstrations, bedside teaching, and academic mentoring. Daily responsibilities include supervising inpatient care, guiding clinical decision-making, and ensuring evidence-based, patient-centered treatment within the affiliated hospital or teaching facility. The role also involves developing curricula, participating in academic governance, conducting and publishing research, and contributing to institutional quality improvement initiatives. The Professor is expected to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, support junior faculty and residents, and uphold ethical and professional standards in all teaching and clinical activities.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Medicine, with demonstrated expertise in clinical practice and patient management.
- Proven experience in Medical Education and Teaching, including delivering lectures, clinical instruction, and mentoring learners.
- Competence in Inpatient Care, with the ability to supervise and guide multidisciplinary teams in hospital settings.
- Active engagement in Research, including designing studies, analyzing data, and contributing to peer-reviewed publications.
- Recognized medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) with postgraduate specialization (MD/DM or equivalent) in a relevant medical field.
- Valid medical licensure/registration as required by local regulatory authorities.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to inclusive, learner-centered teaching.
- Experience in curriculum development, academic assessment, and participation in academic committees is an advantage.
- Ability to work collaboratively in diverse teams and adapt to institutional policies and clinical protocols.
