Faculty Position – Professor | Specialization: Entrepreneurship
JAIN (Deemed-to-be University), CMS Business School invites applications from accomplished academicians and professionals for the position of Professor in the Department of Management, with specialization in Entrepreneurship.
The University is particularly interested in candidates with strong academic, teaching, research, and industry experience in the area of Entrepreneurship, who can contribute to the academic development of the specialization.
Key Expectations
The selected candidate will be expected to:
- Demonstrate strong expertise and academic credentials in Entrepreneurship and related areas.
- Contribute to teaching, curriculum development, research, publications, and academic initiatives in Entrepreneurship.
- Provide academic leadership and support the growth and development of the Entrepreneurship area.
- Undertake the additional responsibility of Area Chair – Entrepreneurship, including coordination of academic activities, faculty engagement, course planning, and development of the specialization.
- Develop and strengthen industry, startup, incubator, accelerator, and entrepreneurship ecosystem linkages.
- Mentor students and faculty and contribute to doctoral/research supervision.
- Lead and support research projects, publications, conferences, consultancy, and other scholarly initiatives in the area.
Essential Qualification – Professor
- Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline and Master’s Degree in Business Administration / PGDM / C.A. / ICWA / M.Com. with First Class or equivalent and two years of professional experience after acquiring the Master’s degree.
- Ph.D. degree in the relevant field and First Class or equivalent at either Bachelor’s or Master’s level in the relevant branch.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in teaching/research/industry, of which at least 3 years should be at a position equivalent to Associate Professor.
- At least 6 research publications at the level of Associate Professor in SCI journals / UGC / AICTE-approved journals and at least 2 successful Ph.D. scholars guided as Supervisor/Co-supervisor till the date of eligibility for promotion;
OR
- At least 10 research publications at the level of Associate Professor in SCI journals / UGC / AICTE-approved journals till the date of eligibility for promotion.
For the position of Professor, post-Ph.D. publications and experience in guiding Ph.D. scholars will be highly desirable.
