Role Description The Production Officer role is a full-time, on-site position based at the company’s manufacturing facility in Vapi. The Production Officer will oversee day-to-day production activities, including monitoring operations, coordinating resources, and ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and regulatory standards. Responsibilities include supervising production lines, managing shift schedules, tracking output, and addressing operational issues to minimize downtime. The role involves collaborating with quality control, maintenance, and logistics teams to meet production targets and support timely deliveries. The Production Officer will also participate in process improvement initiatives, document production data, support staff training on procedures, and help implement best practices across the plant.
Qualifications
- Strong Quality Control skills, with the ability to implement and monitor quality standards and procedures.
- Experience in Manufacturing environments, preferably within mining, metals, or related process industries.
- Ability to conduct and apply Research to improve production processes, reduce waste, and enhance efficiency.
- Training skills to support onboarding, upskilling, and safety awareness for production staff.
- Exposure to the Food Industry or other regulated sectors is an advantage, demonstrating familiarity with strict compliance and hygiene standards.
- Relevant diploma or degree in engineering, industrial chemistry, manufacturing, or a related discipline.
- Knowledge of production planning, safety practices, and basic maintenance coordination.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and team collaboration abilities, with readiness to work on-site in Vapi.
