Position: Production Management Consultant
Consultancy / Contract – Non-Permanent
Department: Production
Role Purpose
To strengthen the Production Department by providing hands-on guidance, coaching, and
practical support to the Production Manager and team. The consultant will improve
production systems, processes, planning, team management, and operational performance
while transferring knowledge to the internal team.
Key Responsibilities
• Assess current production operations and identify improvement areas.
• Improve daily production planning, scheduling, and monitoring.
• Coach and mentor the Production Manager in effective production management.
• Guide the Production Manager in manpower planning, delegation, supervision, and
problem-solving.
• Train and develop Production Supervisors and team members.
• Establish effective production processes, SOPs, KPIs, and reporting systems.
• Identify and resolve production bottlenecks, delays, and operational issues.
• Improve coordination between Production, Quality, R&D, Warehouse, Maintenance,
and other departments.
• Support compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Implement practical and sustainable production-management systems.
Required Experience
• 10+ years of experience in production/manufacturing management preferred.
• Proven experience managing production operations and teams.
• Strong experience in production planning, process improvement, manpower
management, and KPI monitoring.
• Experience in coaching or mentoring production managers/supervisors.
• Manufacturing experience is essential.
• Experience in food, dietary supplements, nutraceuticals, pharmaceuticals,
FMCG, or other regulated industries is preferred.

Expected Outcome
The consultant should help the Production Manager independently manage production

not long-term dependency on the consultant.
