About the role
Job Title: Accountant

Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Bookkeeping
- Maintain accurate financial records and accounting entries.
- Manage day-to-day accounting activities using Tally and QuickBooks.
- Prepare and maintain ledgers, journals, vouchers, and bank reconciliations.
- Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Taxation & Compliance
- Prepare and file Income Tax Returns (ITR) and support tax assessments.
- Ensure timely compliance with TDS, GST, Professional Tax, and other statutory requirements.
- Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and government authorities as required.
- Maintain statutory records and compliance documentation.
Payroll & Employee Compliance
- Process monthly payroll and salary calculations.
- Manage PF (Provident Fund), ESIC, Professional Tax, and other employee-related statutory compliances.
- Generate salary slips and maintain employee payroll records.
- Ensure timely filing of PF and other statutory returns.
Financial Reporting
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Assist management with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
- Support internal and external audits.
- Analyze financial data and provide actionable insights to management.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com), Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- CA Inter / M.Com candidates will have an added advantage.
Technical Skills
- Strong working knowledge of Tally ERP/Tally Prime.
- Experience with QuickBooks.
- Hands-on experience in Income Tax Filing, GST, TDS, and statutory compliance.
- Experience in PF, ESIC, Professional Tax, and payroll processing.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.
Soft Skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and organizational abilities.
- Ability to handle confidential financial information with integrity.
Preferred Experience
- Experience working with consulting, technology, SaaS, or professional services organizations.
- Knowledge of Indian statutory compliance and labor laws.
- Experience handling multi-company accounting and compliance activities.
