Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Press Tool Designer located in Chennai. The Press Tool Designer will be responsible for designing sheet metal press tools, molds, and injection mold systems, ensuring high-quality deliverables to meet customer specifications. The role involves collaborating with the engineering and manufacturing teams to develop and optimize tooling solutions and ensuring adherence to project timelines.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Tooling Design and Design Engineering
- Experience with Mold Design and Injection Molding processes
- Strong understanding of industry standards and best practices in metal die and mold manufacturing
- Ability to use CAD software effectively for tool design
- Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Relevant academic background in Mechanical Engineering, Tool Design, or a related field
