Role Description The Preschool Center Head is a full-time, on-site role based in Magarpatta, Viman Nagar, Baner and wakad responsible for the overall administration, academic quality, and day-to-day operations of the center. This role includes overseeing curriculum implementation, ensuring a safe and nurturing learning environment, and supervising teaching and support staff. The Center Head will manage admissions, parent communication, events, and community outreach, maintaining high standards of service and engagement. Daily responsibilities also involve monitoring compliance with policies, coordinating schedules and resources, supporting staff development, and addressing the needs and concerns of children and families. The role requires close collaboration with the leadership team to align center practices with Jumpstart’s vision of holistic child development and strong parent partnerships.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess skills in early childhood education, child development, and curriculum implementation.
- Candidates should possess skills in center administration, operations management, and basic budgeting or resource planning.
- Candidates should possess skills in team leadership, staff supervision, performance feedback, and mentoring.
- Candidates should possess skills in parent communication, relationship building, and conflict resolution.
- Candidates should possess skills in planning and organizing events, managing schedules, and coordinating activities.
- Relevant qualifications include a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Education, Child Psychology, or a related field.
- Prior experience in a preschool, school administration, or education leadership role is highly beneficial.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and local languages, along with cultural sensitivity, are important.
- Ability to work on-site, adapt to dynamic situations, and maintain a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment for children is required.
