About the Role
We are looking for a skilled Power BI Developer with strong expertise in Power BI, DAX, Power Query, Power BI Service, and Python to build scalable, interactive, and business-driven dashboards. The ideal candidate should have experience in data modeling, ETL, performance optimization, and translating complex business requirements into actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Microsoft Power BI.
- Develop efficient and optimized DAX measures, calculated columns, and KPIs.
- Build and optimize Power Query (M Language) transformations for data extraction, cleansing, and shaping.
- Manage and administer reports, datasets, workspaces, gateways, and scheduled refreshes using Power BI Service.
- Perform data extraction, transformation, and automation using Python.
- Design robust data models following star and snowflake schema best practices.
- Optimize report performance through efficient modeling, DAX tuning, and query optimization.
- Integrate data from multiple sources including SQL databases, APIs, Excel, SharePoint, Azure, and cloud platforms.
- Implement Row-Level Security (RLS), Object-Level Security (OLS), and workspace governance.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and deliver insightful visualizations.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and governance across reporting solutions.
- Support deployment, maintenance, troubleshooting, and enhancement of BI solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3–8 years of experience in Business Intelligence and Power BI development.
- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling.
- Experience working with large datasets and enterprise reporting solutions.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
