Role Overview
The Portfolio Manager will own assigned portfolios across Products and DPD Buckets under a checker–maker operating model. The role is responsible for driving portfolio performance through Call Center, Feet on Street (FOS), Legal and Digital teams while maintaining end-to-end ownership of portfolio health and profitability. The candidate will maintain portfolio PCL and drive collection outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
· Own assigned portfolio across Products and DPD Buckets with end-to-end accountability
· Maintain and drive assigned portfolio PCL performance
· Drive collection and recovery outcomes through Call Center, FOS, Legal and Digital channels
· Monitor Roll Back, Roll Forward and Stable movement trends
· Conduct regular portfolio reviews and identify leakage areas
· Review collection efficiency, contactability and PTP performance
· Recommend strategy interventions and treatment changes
· Visit high-value portfolio cases and critical locations wherever required
· Drive closure of escalated and strategic accounts
· Ensure portfolio targets, governance and compliance adherence
Eligibility / Qualification
· Graduate / Postgraduate in Business Administration, Finance or related field
· MBA preferred
· Collections / Analytics certification added advantage
Experience Required
· 12–18 years of relevant experience
· Industry Preference: Banking / NBFC / Retail Lending / Financial Services
· Avoid profiles from Agency, BPO and Fintech background
· Strong exposure across all collection processes and DPD buckets
· Experience handling portfolio profitability and PCL ownership
