About the Role
We are looking for a Political Consultant to work across political research, current affairs, social media intelligence, and campaign development.
The role is primarily focused on Telangana politics and requires someone who closely follows political developments and understands how political narratives and campaigns work across social media.
What You'll Do
- Track and research Telangana political developments, leaders, parties, movements and key issues.
- Prepare quick, concise research notes and political briefs.
- Monitor political conversations and narratives across Instagram, Facebook, X, YouTube and other platforms.
- Identify emerging trends, issues and opportunities for political communication.
- Support the team in developing social media campaigns, content ideas and campaign narratives.
- Track political leaders, opposition activity, news and social media trends.
- Work closely with creative and social media teams to convert research into campaign content.
- Handle quick-turnaround research assignments when political developments require immediate response.

- Strong understanding of Telangana politics and current affairs.
- Regularly follows political news, movements, leaders and major developments.
- Strong research and information-gathering skills.
- Good understanding of the political social media ecosystem.
- Genuine interest in social media campaigns and political communication.
- Strong writing and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and under tight deadlines.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities can change quickly.
Preferred
Prior experience in:
- Political consulting/election campaigns
- Political research
- Running or supporting social media campaigns
- Digital marketing / social media
- Journalism / political reporting
- Working with political parties, leaders or campaign teams
Prior experience in political social media campaigns will be strongly preferred.
