Role Description The Political Assembly Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Panaji, responsible for planning, organizing, and executing political events, rallies, and assemblies that align with campaign strategy. This role coordinates logistics, manages ground teams and volunteers, and ensures that all activities are compliant with local regulations and campaign guidelines. The Political Assembly Manager collaborates closely with political communications strategists, field organizers, creative and social media teams to translate messaging into impactful on-the-ground actions. Day-to-day responsibilities include venue scouting, vendor coordination, timeline and budget management, stakeholder communication, and real-time issue resolution during events. The role also involves post-event analysis, reporting key insights to the wider campaign team, and continually improving assembly tactics based on audience response and data.
Qualifications
- Experience in political campaign management, field operations, or event management, with proven ability to organize large-scale assemblies and rallies.
- Strong skills in stakeholder coordination, including working with campaign leadership, volunteers, vendors, and local authorities.
- Competence in logistics planning and on-site execution, including scheduling, resource allocation, risk management, and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Ability to translate strategic political messaging into tangible ground activities, working closely with communications, creative, and social media teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to lead diverse teams in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
- Comfort with basic data collection and reporting, using event metrics and audience feedback to refine future assembly strategies.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple events and priorities simultaneously.
- Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, Communications, Public Relations, Management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Previous experience in political organizing or advocacy in India, and familiarity with the regional context in Panaji or Goa, is highly beneficial.
