Role Description The Pediatric Physiotherapist will provide assessment, treatment, and ongoing management for infants, children, and adolescents with physical, developmental, and neurological conditions. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting detailed physical and functional evaluations, developing individualized physiotherapy plans, and delivering therapy sessions focused on motor skills, strength, coordination, posture, and mobility. The role involves documenting clinical findings, tracking progress, and communicating regularly with families about treatment goals, home programs, and strategies to support the child’s development. The Pediatric Physiotherapist will work closely with other therapy disciplines to ensure integrated, child-centered care. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bangalore Urban.
Qualifications
- Formal education in Physiotherapy (Bachelor’s or Master’s degree), with training or experience in pediatric physiotherapy.
- Proficiency in pediatric assessment tools, treatment planning, and delivery of interventions for motor delays, orthopedic conditions, and neurological disorders.
- Strong clinical documentation, case management, and organizational skills to manage caseloads and maintain accurate records.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and partnering with families and caregivers.
- Ability to design and teach home exercise programs, with a focus on safety, child engagement, and family participation.
- Commitment to evidence-based practice, ongoing professional development, and adherence to ethical and regulatory standards.
- Experience in a pediatric or child therapy setting is preferred; relevant licenses or registrations as required by local regulations.
- Comfort working in an on-site clinical environment in Bangalore Urban and supporting children from varied backgrounds in a non-discriminatory, inclusive manner.
