Role Description This is a full-time, on-site PHP Laravel Developer role based in Mumbai. The developer will design, build, and maintain web applications using PHP and the Laravel framework, ensuring clean, secure, and efficient code. Daily responsibilities include developing new features, integrating APIs, troubleshooting and debugging issues, optimizing application performance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams such as product, design, and QA. The role involves participating in code reviews, maintaining technical documentation, and supporting deployment and maintenance activities. The developer will also stay current with best practices in web development and contribute to improving development workflows and standards.
Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in PHP and the Laravel framework, with experience building and maintaining web applications.
- Solid understanding of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and RESTful APIs.
- Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and writing efficient queries.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
- Knowledge of software development best practices, including testing, debugging, and code optimization.
- Ability to analyze requirements, translate them into technical solutions, and document the implementation clearly.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work closely with team members and stakeholders on-site.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience with modern front-end frameworks, containerization, or cloud platforms is an advantage.
